Olivia Steckly, Owner & CEO

Olivia is the proud owner and director of Plant PR. She prides herself on her professional diversity, ranging from representing small businesses to independently coordinating events and orchestrating fundraising efforts for nonprofits as part of Plant's pro bono policy. Thriving in a fast-paced environment and finessing the art of multitasking results in the ability to provide services to a wide variety of clients both locally and abroad.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Olivia's creative approach to copywriting, content building, and problem solving collectively guarantee a unique and impactful experience for both the client and their audience. Acting on behalf of an individual or business to ensure smooth, consistent delivery of "the goods" is what she's all about!

Nicole Verduin, Junior Intern


Nicole is an English/Media and Communications major at Drew University. With a knack for writing, her work has been published in campus newspapers, literary magazines, and hyperlocal news publications. When she isn't glued to her keyboard, Nicole enjoys reading, baking, hiking, and cuddling with her two cats, Bilbo and Gandalf.

Noura Abdulkader, Junior Intern


Persistent. It’s a word that has been used to describe Noura by her peers and mentors. She does not cease until she has not only impacted herself for the better, but also those around her. She remains motivated through any situation and thrives off of creative minds working together. Her experience in communications, customer service, and living in NYC has taught her how to use her surroundings as a tool in the PR Industry. It forced her to not only work hard, but to be creative and work well under pressure!

Yehuda Greenfield, Junior Research Intern


Yehuda Greenfield recently graduated from Yeshiva University with a BA in English. He loves writing, reading, learning new things, and meeting new people. He is looking forward to putting his talents and interests to use in the world of PR. He is excited to be part of the team at Plant PR, and enjoys working on all aspects of Public Relations. In his spare time, you can find Yehuda working on his novel, reading a book, or simply staring into space contemplating the meaning of life.

Joel Fernandez, Social Media Intern


Joel Fernandez is a Social Media Coordinator who partners with influencers to grow their personal and professional brands. Understanding the vision and representation, Joel embodies the spirit and strategically implants its’s theme and personality on social media channels. Seeing others gain exposure and recognition in their communities is what drives Joel to be a part of their progress. In addition to his social media marketing experience, Joel has skill-sets in video production and photography.

Joel holds a BA in Film & TV Studies from Lehman College and is currently working on a diploma in Social Media Marketing at New York University.
